Announcing the Texas Farmers Home Policy I have done a few quotes with this new Texas Family Home Policy, and so far have found that not only does it add better coverage, but in every instance it has saved the customer hundreds of dollars!! The very first home I quoted was: $150,000 replacement cost, 17 year-old (no new-home discount) and located in Dallas County (higher crime higher rates). The old HOA policy was $1206 a year. The new policy came to $1068 a year, PLUS: To make sure of further savings, I also picked a random quote I did recently, and re-did it using the TFHP quote: a $162,000 replacement cost, 9 year-old (new home -9 discount), for a 62 year-old (55+ discount), also in Dallas County.
